“ It helps that Belper McDonald's is in the Orangery building near Morrison's. It's a nice little building and it's not a bad place to sit down with a paper and a cup of tea. On a good day you can sit outside on the benches, although it's by the A6 roundabout, so don't expect fantastic scenery! The restaurant is just the right size for Belper, although at peak times it gets a bit frantic as all McDonald's do. Apart from that it's the usual McDonald's standard fare, if you fancy a menu with a bit more character to it I would pop down the road to Poppy's in the bus station to be honest. ”

“I'm not a huge fan of McDonald's but, after shopping at near-by Morrisons, we sometime pop here for lunch.
They don't cater much for vegetarians, which is a big bug-bare of mine, but I've always found the staff at The Orangery polite, efficient and welcoming. It's always busy but never packed, with a light and airy dining area that makes it feel like you're eating somewhere a bit, well, posher than McDonald's.”
