May Sum

“Here we have a huge Chinese restaurant in the Derby city centre. May Sum on Babington Lane is primarily and all you can eat buffet restaurant with lunchtime services being only £6.90. Naturally given the restaurants location and the stature of the venue, May Sum is very popular in the town.”

“These all you can eat places always flatter to deceive in my opinion. I'm always concerened about the quality of the buffet food and how long its been out. May Sum is ok but I ate too much so next time will order from their regular menu. Plus the set up is like a school canteen with big long benches”

Great place for eating with the family - even if you're not a Chinese fan

“I was a bit sceptical about May Sum but, even though I don't like Chinese food, there really is something to suit everyone's taste at the Babington Lane eaterie.

Their all-you-can-eat buffet is great value and as well as a wide range of Chinese food, May Sum also cater for fussier eaters, like me, with a large salad bar, chips, pizza and a fantastic range of desserts.

There is even a chocolate fountain to keep the little ones entertained (if a little messy!)”
