Le Bistrot Pierre

Le Bistrot Pierre is an extremely elegant and classy French restaurant situated on the amazing Friar Gate road in Derby. Their chefs cook and prepare excellent quality French cuisine and at not extortionate prices as you’d think.

Free range chicken at great prices (and taste!)

“Having switched to free range only chicken I find it difficult to have chicken in restaurants, but not at Bistrot Pierre. Their chicken supreme, like all their food is delicious and great value. Their fixed prices lunches and dinners are a bargain for the standard of food. Beware - the French bread is so good that it is tempting to eat too much of it before your meal comes!”

    Classy establishment

“Where I work we use Bistro Pierre for corporate lunches and we've never been let down. It's intimate with a small but quality menu. I've not been socially but I'd strongly recommend if you're looking to impress a client. Plus it's not expensive”

    Bums on seats

“Can't fault Le bistrot Pierre. Earned its good reputation for good food over many years in Derby. Probably the only place in the city where you can get Pastis which marks it out as pretty authentic in my book. When it's very busy it can get a bit noisy but other than that it's difficult to fault.”

Great food with some good deals

“A really nice restaurant in a really handy location for a night out. The food is of a very high standard and not too pricey. They do some very good offers for pre-theatre meals, so if you're looking to keep the price down then you can just eat a little earlier. definitely one of the better restaurants in Derby.”

Quality and value meals are a feature.

“Top quality and value meals are a feature. The chef who was on duty was called Dave and he deliverd food of a standard that belied its price. The service was polite professional and attentive without being intrusive. My party were all impressed and we will all be returning to sample the rest of the menu. The lunch time value is out standing and I'm informed the gourmet nights realy deliver for the special occasions. I've had similar meals before but the combination of quality and value are rarely found together.”
