Derby Telegraph

Photographers in Derby have been sharing their pictures at the latest TogsQuad camera club meeting. The theme was "three", which could include the use of the "rule of thirds" technique. This method of composition frames the subject either one-third or two-thirds of the way across the picture, rather than in the centre. Peter Edges, of Alvaston, shot three lights in the underpass near Station Approach in Derby, top; Christopher Gray, also of Alvaston, snapped three sunbeds on a rooftop in Tenerife and John Ball, also of Alvaston, captured the Three Sisters peaks, in Oregon, USA. TogsQuad meets at Quad, in Derby, on the third Thursday of every month. For more details, visit www.derbyquad.co.uk
