Not safe to be on the road
PAUL Day is a very lucky and very angry man.
Lucky because he survived being hurled over the bonnet of a car as he made his way home from work on his bike.
Angry because the driver of the car that hit him drove off without a second thought for whether he was dead or alive.
What a sad indictment of the society we live in that someone could be hit by a car and left for dead in the road. Let us hope that the driver is found very quickly, as they are clearly not safe to be on the road.

“Get Well Soon Paul. I would be angry too, with a driver who failed to stop or even call an ambulance. Make sure if they catch him that you claim off his insurance for injuries and loss of earnings too.”
