Have a say on how Amber Valley household waste is collected
PEOPLE in Amber Valley are being asked how they want bin collections to be improved in the area.
Amber Valley Borough Council's current contract for the service is up for renewal in June 2013 and an online survey has been launched to see what people think of it.

People in Amber Valley can help shape the way waste is collected.
Currently, residents in the region are asked to put normal household waste into a wheeled bin or purple bags and recyclable materials, like tins, glass, paper and cardboard, into separate boxes and bags.
The survey asks people what methods of collection they would like to see in the future.
It also asks about how many wheeled bins they would be able and willing to store at their property.
The views will be used to help shape the new service when discussions start with potential new contractors next month.
A spokesman for the authority said the results of the survey could mean the biggest change to recycling and waste collections since the existing system was introduced in 2005.
The survey is available at www.surveymonkey.com/s/DontWasteYourChance.
Councillor Jack Brown said: "This survey is the best chance in years for people in Amber Valley to change or keep the way their recycling and rubbish is collected from their homes."
