Burton Albion: Brewers tie up Shroot

FOOTBALL: Burton Albion have signed Birmingham City forward Robin Shroot on a season-long loan.

The Northern Ireland Under-21 international joined Birmingham from non-league Harrow Borough in January and spent a spell on loan with Walsall last season.

Birmingham have the option of recalling Shroot, 21, in January.

"Robin will give us a variety of options," said Peschisoldio.

"He can play as a wide man or as a front man or just behind the striker and it is that variety that I have brought him in for."
