Kaz reckons he's starting to make his mark on loan
The Polish international, on a season-long loan from Porto, netted his first goal for the Rams after coming on as a second-half substitute in Tuesday night's 3-1 victory over Norwich City at Pride Park.
And the 26-year-old, who has made eight appearances in the Championship so far, including five starts, believes he is getting better with every game.
Kazmierczak arrived at Pride Park from Porto, with a view to a permanent move, in July.
"For me, it was a difficult time because I came here and started training without much preparation," he said.
"It was not easy because the type of football played over here is so fast.
"But I think I am showing my quality more with every week and every game that goes by.
"I am making progress.
"Every week, I am getting better.
"The league is tough but I feel good."
Kazmierczak, who has also played for Boavista in Portugal along with Pogon Szczecin, Piotrcovia Piotrkow Trybunalski and LKS Lodz in Poland, is now hoping to be in contention for tomorrow's crunch clash against Derby's arch rivals Nottingham Forest.
"I know about the rivalry because they are so close to each other and I've played these types of games in Portugal and Poland," he added.
"When I was at Porto, it was Boavista and when I was at Boavista, it was Porto.
"They were great games to play in.
"In Poland, I also played in matches between teams from the same city.
"It is nice because there are many supporters watching, both home and away.
"This is a great game for fans but, for us, we must win it to get another three points.
"I'm sure it will be a tight game and everyone will want to win.
"It means a lot to the fans but for us also, because we want to get to the top of the table.
"Every game is important to us."
