"We are going to have to be careful who plays and who doesn't, because we have got a few knocks at the moment but we will get as strong a team out with as many first-team squad members as we can," said manager Nigel Clough.
Roy Carroll, Martin Albrechtsen and Jordan Stewart all started Monday's victory at Matlock, as did Ben Pringle, Aleksander Prijovic and Jason Beardsley.
Burton are holders of the Bass Vase after beating Gresley Rovers on penalties last season following a 3-3 draw.
Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido said: "It will be a mixed side but the main objective will be to make sure those who were on the bench against Birmingham on Saturday get at least 75 minutes under their belts."
Skipper Darren Stride, defender Ryan Austin, winger Jimmy Phillips and strikers Shaun Harrad and Richard Walker are expected to start.
Former Liverpool and Aston Villa defender Steve Staunton will be the guest of honour.
Staunton will present the trophy to the winners.
