No success in police shoplifter search
SUSPICIOUS shop owners called the police after spotting a shoplifter in the Sadler Gate area yesterday lunchtime.
Several police carried out a detailed search of the area, including in the Park Safe car park, Bold Lane, but were unable to arrest anyone.
A Derbyshire police spokeswoman said: "Several shop owners reported thefts around the same time and responded with a search."
