Full-time: Derby County beaten 2-1 at Hull City
DERBY County were beaten 2-1 by Championship promotion hopefuls Hull City at the KC Stadium.
Egyptian international forward Gedo put the Tigers ahead early in the second half.
Jamie Ward's 84th-minute equaliser looked to have earned a point for the Rams but Ahmed Elmohamady headed a late winner for the hosts.
Derby's misery was complete when defender Gareth Roberts was sent off two minutes from time.

Kieron Freeman was handed his third start of the season in a reshuffled Derby defence.
Freeman lined up at right-back, with John Brayford moving across to centre-half in place of Jake Buxton.
Buxton made an unexpected return to action after two months out with a knee injury in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday but was not deemed fit enough to start two games in the space of four days, so he took Freeman's spot on the bench.
Derby were otherwise unchanged, with defenders Mark O'Brien and James O'Connor still sidelined with knee problems.
Hull enjoyed plenty of possession early on but the Rams created a few promising openings.
Sammon shot off target after good work from Ward and Paul Coutts in the eighth minute.
Then, the Tigers were indebted to a crucial tackle from Jack Hobbs after Ward had cut out a crossfield pass from Stephen Quinn.
Craig Bryson fired over after cutting in from the left and Jeff Hendrick's teasing centre just evaded Ward in the middle.
For Hull, Robert Koren headed a difficult chance wide from Elmohamady's cross.
In added time at the end of the half, the home side almost took the lead but Quinn's glancing header flashed inches past the post from another Elmohamady centre.
Hull boss Steve Bruce made a double change at the break, bringing on Gedo and Nick Proschwitz for Koren and Jay Simpson, while switching from a 3-5-2 formation to a 4-4-2.
Gedo opened the scoring with his first touch, 90 seconds after the restart, heading in Robbie Brady's left-wing cross from 10 yards.
David Meyler almost doubled the lead just after the hour but his 20-yard strike was deflected on to the post, with Adam Legzdins beaten.
Moments later, a fierce drive from Ward was beaten away by Hull keeper David Stockdale.
And Derby were close to an equaliser in the 66th minute when Ward picked out Sammon in the box but the striker, under pressure, was denied by the crossbar.
Next, Ward's shot from the edge of the area struck Sammon and rolled narrowly wide.
Brady sent a free kick over the bar but Derby kept pressing and their efforts were rewarded six minutes from time.
Bryson did well on the left and whipped in a cross that Stockdale came for but missed, allowing Ward to steer the ball into the unguarded net.
The visitors' joy was short-lived, though, as Elmohamady's downward header from Brady's corner bounced over Roberts on the line with three minutes to go.
It got worse for Derby as Roberts was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Nick Proschwitz.
