The producers of the first national tour of Dirty Dancing are now taking the show to five new venues - including Stoke's Regent Theatre.

Since the UK tour opened in Bristol last September demand for tickets has been phenomenal.

The producers have now announced an extension to the tour next year.

The show played for five years at London’s Aldwych Theatre, breaking all box office records with advanced ticket sales of over £15 million, which made it the fastest ever selling West End show.

It will be on stage at the Regent from March 12-30, 2013, and at Nottingham's Theatre Royal from February 12 to March 2, 2013.
