Six trapped in Derby lifts
FIRE crews rescued six people from lifts in the city centre in two separate incidents.
The first of these involved two adults and two children trapped in a lift in the Westfield shopping centre.
This happened at around 4.30pm yesterday and the four were trapped for less than 30 minutes.
At 7.30pm crews released two adults trapped in a lift for around half an hour in the Holiday Inn near the bus station on Morledge.
